Expertise and experience make it all possible
Our team includes senior project managers, designers, certified SharePoint developers, writers and trainers. Every member of our team works to deliver beyond our client expectations.
Meet the team
We are an eclectic mix of people with a variety of talents and skillsets. The results speak for themselves.
Drew CarmichaelCEO & FounderCEO & FounderDrew has worked exclusively with SharePoint since 2004. Drew is our ‘front man’. You’ll likely hear from him if you request a demo (click the button!). Drew knows our SharePoint solution like the back of his hand, having delivered it to more than 40 school districts across Canada. Drew is an avid sailor and spends his weekends on Vancouver Island.x
Alistair HigsonCTO & Founder
Alistair HigsonCTO & FounderAlistair has worked with SharePoint since 2005. Alistair manages all aspects of the technical integration of our solution and all of the design integration (he’s not to be messed with). Alistair likes to swim, curl, sail, ski, snowshoe and build things. He hopes to invent a death ray one day (we plan to keep it locked up).x
Bob HickmanDeliveryBob coordinates and oversees the delivery of customer projects. Bob works closely with customers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, and also meeting your needs and expectations. Given the chance, Bob would like to invent a digital personal assistant like those seen in movies. Think Siri, with control over his house, and little robot minions to vacuum and do the dishes.x
Dharma MackaySupportDharma is the first point of contact any time you need help or have a question. He’s also our user champion, ensuring user feedback and suggestions are represented when planning improvements. Dharma loves to travel locally and around the world with his wife. He wishes he could invent a way to make it rain only at night in Vancouver.x
Jaus LairdQualityJaus is central to ensuring your users have a great experience, every time. Responsible for all things testing and monitoring, his goal is to discover and fix problems before you even knew they existed. Jaus loved art class at school in Ladner, BC. He’s keen to invent the auto-refill coffee cup (we’ll keep you posted on his progress).x
Lisa MykleAdminLisa pays the bills, keeps the lights on, and everything else a happy, healthy office needs to function. She’s also responsible for planning staff events and always on the lookout for ways to make employees lives happier and healthier. When she’s not working, Lisa takes care of her two wonderful boys and enjoys camping and meditation. Lisa would invent a device that could read her mind and get everything done that she needs.x
Melissa McDonaldMarketingMelissa is our new Marketing Associate and joined us from Manchester! You will be hearing her British accent lots on all our Youtube videos and when she calls to catch up with clients. She is currently trying to learn how to speak Canadian and if she could invent anything, it would be a never-ending cup of tea and a portable king-size bed with all the trimmings.x
Michelle McDonaldDesignMichelle is our Graphic Designer, but her job is more than making our product look good, she strives to make the user experience the best it can be. Michelle would like to invent a machine that could ripen fruit to perfection.x
Michael FordMarketingMichael manages reaching out to new and existing clients. Michael is from England so we tease him about going to school in the snow and -40. Michael likes to ski and cook. He’d invent a teleport machine that would get him home from anywhere instantly.x
Michael LiDevelopmentMichael is a front-end developer. He takes your vision and turns it into actual websites. He builds everything you see and interact with. When he’s not working, Michael likes to sleep and find good places to eat. He also loves computer games. Michael wants to invent a virtual world people can enjoy while they sleep.x
Rodrick YuDevelopmentRodrick does backend and frontend development work and client support. He’s also the Virtual Machine groundskeeper. In his spare time, he travels back to prehistoric times and squishes bugs to see how it affects the present (we hope he’s kidding). Given the tools, he’d like to invent a sarcasm detector (it won’t be hard to be find testers!).x
Shannon HendersonDeliveryShannon is our expert in form development and enhancement projects. She is a real-life superwoman as she helps us maintain your SharePoint platform and looks after her two beautiful children, who sometimes participate in our virtual meetings with screams of joy – we think they love her work as much as we do! If she could invent anything, it would be a robot to cook and clean her house, like the Jetsons!x
Shane OgilvieDevelopmentShane is our SharePoint infrastructure specialist. When Shane’s not working, he’s studying at Simon Fraser University. Shane enjoys hiking, reading, and playing around with new technologies. Given the chance, he’d invent a way to re-grow hair!x
It’s not all work
and no play
Vancouver is an outdoor playground and sometimes we can’t resist taking advantage of our stunning location. Thursday is lunch day, so whoever is around the office (we like to keep an option to work at home open to all) gets to come for lunch.
If you're ever in the neighbourhood, please drop by to meet us (come at noon on Thursday and we'll treat you to sushi).
Have the skills we need? We're always looking for talented people to join our team.
Drop us a line with your resume. Forget the cover letter (we've read too many, and they all say the same thing). Just answer the three questions below:
Put your answers and resume in an email and fire it over to firstname.lastname@example.org.×
