Scholantis was created in 2007 to provide SharePoint solutions and consulting support within the education sector. We specialise in website and portal solutions for school districts, our primary focus being the design, deployment and enhancement of intranets and public websites for schools and districts across Canada. We also provide consulting and support services for form design & process automation, infrastructure, and end user training & support.

Microsoft SharePoint provides first class collaboration, content management and business process functionality using only a browser. The success of Microsoft’s fastest growing product has not been matched by the number of successful deployments and satisfied customers. SharePoint is an extremely flexible, broad and powerful platform but this broad reach and inherent complexity has overwhelmed many technology departments and end users. We sometimes wonder how many SharePoint projects start on a computer under someone’s desk!

Customising any technology requires not only the technical knowledge and expertise but a deep understanding of the business of education and it is this that Scholantis brings to the table. Scholantis was created to help educators implement SharePoint quickly and at a fraction of the cost associated with custom portal and website projects.

Our mantra for our internal portal and external website solutions is to get customers 80% of the way there at 20% of the cost (the Pareto principle). The 80% we provide gives customers a comprehensive and fully operational enterprise portal or website.
